They use Sherwin Williams and Benjamin Moore paints and provide a standard five-year warranty on paint work, with an optional extended warranty available.

In Florida, painters are regulated by the Construction Industry Licensing Board (CILB), a division of the Department of Business & Professional Regulation. Before hiring a painter, verify that the contractor holds the appropriate license for the work being performed. The state issues both certified and registered licenses; certified contractors can work throughout Florida, while registered contractors may only work in the jurisdictions where they are registered.

You can verify a contractor's license status online through the Florida DBPR's license search portal. Search by the business name, license number, or city. This search will show whether the license is active and in good standing, and provide other official information about the contractor.

Florida's building code governs construction and renovation work. Depending on the scope of painting work—such as interior repainting, exterior work, or preparation and repairs—some projects may require permits or compliance with specific code provisions. Before starting work, ask your painter whether a permit is required for your project and what inspections, if any, may be needed.
