About BrightPath Contractor

BrightPath is a directory of local home-service businesses. Pick a trade and a city and you get a list of businesses with phone numbers, addresses, hours and websites, where we have them. Right now the directory covers 456 cities in 11 states and lists 11,812 businesses.

How the directory is organized

Every listing sits under a state, a city and a trade, so you can go straight from “I need a plumber in Orlando” to the businesses that serve Orlando. The trades are:

• Concrete Contractors
• Electricians
• General Contractors
• HVAC Contractors
• Land Clearing
• Landscapers
• Painters
• Plumbers

You can also start from the full directory and narrow by trade or location.

What a listing shows, and where it comes from

A listing shows the business name, phone number, address, opening hours and website when we have them. If the business has a Google Maps or Yelp page, the listing links to it and shows the rating from that page. Those details are compiled from public sources such as Google Maps and Yelp business pages, so a phone number or set of hours can be out of date. Calling ahead to confirm is always worth it.

Owners who list their own business get a profile written for their trade and city, with the details they give us. That is a one-time payment of $49.99, and the listing goes live within 48 hours.

What BrightPath does not do

BrightPath does not do the work, take bookings or quote prices. Appearing in the directory is not an endorsement. Before you hire anyone, check their contractor license and insurance with your state licensing board, and ask for a written estimate.

Fix or remove a listing

If a listing is wrong, or you want your business taken out of the directory, send us a note through the contact page with the business name and city.
