The company also handles brush clearing and fire regulation trimming, landscape maintenance, green waste recycling and composting, and container rental. Landscape installation spans from concept through completion.

In California, landscapers operate under specific licensing classifications. A C-27 Landscaping Contractor license covers landscape work, while a C-49 Tree and Palm Contractor license covers tree and palm services. Before hiring any contractor, you can verify their license status through the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB) online portal using their license number or business name.

According to the California Building Standards Code, most landscaping projects require a building permit from your local building department. Permit requirements vary by city and county, so check with the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety or your specific city's building department to determine what permits apply to your project—whether it's landscape installation, irrigation, or tree work.

When contacting a landscaper, ask whether they hold the appropriate state license for your project type and whether they carry bonding and insurance. Request references and get a detailed written estimate. Understanding permit needs upfront prevents delays and ensures work meets local code.
