Hiring an Electrician in Miami Beach, Florida
Florida's Electrical Contractors Licensing Board oversees all electrical work in the state. An Electrical Contractor (EC) license—like Zeek Electric's EC13009710—means the holder can install, repair, alter, and design electrical wiring, fixtures, appliances, and systems for both residential and commercial projects. You can verify any electrician's license through the Florida DBPR licensing portal by searching by name or license number.
Before hiring, ask your electrician whether permits are required for your project and who will handle them. Most electrical work falls under Florida's building code and may need a permit and inspection. Check with your local Miami Beach permitting office about what applies to your job.
How do I verify an electrician's Florida license?
