KB Painting

KB Painting is a family-owned painting company in Fort Lauderdale run by owners Kory and Kelly Balestrieri, third-generation painters with over 15 years of experience in South Florida. The company handles interior and exterior painting for homes and businesses.

KB Painting provides free estimates and color consultations seven days a week. The team focuses on surface preparation and uses quality products from distributors to match your budget. They work to keep your property clean during the job and maintain quality control throughout each project.

The company is open daily from 9 AM to 7 PM and can be reached at (754) 224-7229. They do not use subcontractors and handle work in-house.

In Florida, painting contractors who work on projects above a certain scope may need to be licensed by the Construction Industry Licensing Board (CILB). The state distinguishes between certified contractors—who can work anywhere in Florida after proving competency—and registered contractors, who are limited to specific jurisdictions where they registered. Before hiring, you can verify a contractor's license status on the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation (DBPR) website by searching by name, license number, or city.

When you contact KB Painting at (754) 224-7229, ask about their license type and verify it online at myfloridalicense.com. The company offers free estimates and color consultations, so this is a good time to discuss your project scope, ask about surface preparation methods, and confirm whether permits or inspections will be needed for your specific job. Permits depend on the work's nature and your local city or county rules.
